ABOUT NEUROTECT

Founded in 2010, Neurotect LLC is developing innovative and wearable technology for the protection from devastating injuries caused by sports and high-risk activities. Our goal is to reduce or prevent devastating injuries to the spine, head, neck and major joints, as well as to minimize the threat of further injury to accident and trauma victims.

Neurotect technology takes advantage of the latest innovations in wearable materials, electro-mechanical design and semiconductor sensing technologies to offer a significant advantage over traditional braces and safety devices. The thin, flexible, and lockable plates that comprise our technology can be embedded into stretchable materials that easily conform to body shapes without impeding movement or comfort under normal circumstances, while immediately working to prevent injury when needed.

Neurotect was formed to develop new applications based on the research and patents of co-founder, Dr. Arthur L. Jenkins III, M.D., F.A.C.S., a neurosurgeon who specializes in complex spine surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
